Innera ("we", "our", "us") is building DPDP-aligned controls and GDPR-grade privacy defaults. This notice explains the current product behavior and the controls available to you.

1. Information We Collect

Account information (email, display name, and login data).
Journal entries and chat messages you create.
App usage metrics (session duration, frequency).
Optional mood or reflection tags for emotional insights.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide requested journaling, mood, chat, and care features.
To process AI responses when you choose to use an AI feature.
To remember long-term patterns only when you opt in to AI Memory.
To share care context with a clinician only after preview and consent.
To improve reliability using content-free, bucketed analytics.
To keep your account secure and prevent misuse.

We do not use your journal entries or chat messages to train our underlying AI models. Personalization happens by referencing your own history back to you — it does not mean your content is used to improve the AI for other users.

3. Optional Consent

Optional purposes such as long-term AI Memory, clinician sharing, marketing email, optional analytics, and research are designed to stay off unless you choose them. You can withdraw optional consent from the same product surfaces where the controls are shown.

4. Data Protection

We use industry-standard security measures: encryption in transit (TLS), field-level encryption for protected content where implemented, access controls, audit logs, and telemetry scrubbing. Sensitive content is not sold to advertisers.

5. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, export, withdrawal of optional consent, grievance review, or deletion of your personal data by contacting privacy@innera.ai. Rafat is the interim privacy and grievance owner until a formal officer is appointed. We target a 30-day response period for privacy requests while counsel finalizes jurisdiction-specific wording.
